I started diffusing essential oils a few years ago when I found out all the different scents I could create and how great having a diffuser is for your health! I received a request a while ago to share my favorite essential oil combinations, and today I just got my dream diffuser in the mail… so I decided this was the perfect time to post this article! But seriously, come on, a terra cotta diffuser? For me, it can’t get any better than that. If you’re as obsessed as I am, I’ve linked the diffuser here! (P.S. It comes in three other colors as well.)

I’ve also linked a few more affordable ones here, here and here.

My favorite batch of essential oils I use are these.

Before I give you my guide to the best basic essential oil scents, I just want to quickly explain how diffusing essential oils has helped me and how it can help you. Using a diffuser purifies your air, whether or not you choose to have a scent, which is really great for your physical health. When it comes to scents, there are so many different ones that you can create; they can help with sleep, mental clarity, when you’re sick, and even just to set the perfect ambiance for your home! I recommend using 100% organic, all-natural essential oils so as to prevent filling your space with harsh chemicals.

Below are scent combinations using the specific scents that I own. I’ll be sure to update this list once I get my hands on more!
