Reformation Top || Everlane Ankle Jean
Basics are so important because they are the items that last the longest in your closet. Owning great staples that you love means you are less likely to go out and buy clothes and will always have a classic outfit waiting in your closet. I believe these are the items that you can splurge more on because they will be of use for a long while; you’ll want them to last and be of great quality. I’ve compiled a list below of my go-to basic tops that I will be sure to keep pulling out of my closet for years to come.

A&F Button-Up Blouse (4 colors)
If you love adding a vintage feel to your outfit like I do, this top is just beautiful. It’ll pair well with blue or camel jeans and nude flats or heels.

Reformation Square Neck Bodysuit (2 colors)
This neckline is such a classic and will always be one of my favorites because it adds such an elegant look. It will look great with blue jeans and heels, especially ones with a pop of color for a fancier occasion.

Loft Striped Puff Sleeve Top (3 colors)
Much to my delight, puff sleeves have been in style for a while now and don’t seem to be going away anytime soon. This top will pair well with skinny jeans and sneakers for a more laid back approach.

Old Navy Henley Tee (6 colors)
I think every closet needs a nice, Henley top, especially because they are so versatile. This one has the perfect amount of style and would look great tucked into jeans or even to wear around the house with sweats or leggings.

Madewell Crewneck Bodysuit (2 colors)
I love the look of sleeves that come up right above the elbow because I think it gives a very put-together look. This piece will go well with mom jeans and flats, or booties for a more dressy occasion.

Loft Smocked Cuff Tee (2 colors)
This piece is so simple yet still adds a nice, feminine feel. It’ll look great tucked into jeans or over leggings.
